Rockies are just off the hook right now. You know that I am a huge baseball fan and have been following religiously since I was 10 (longer actually, but cannot remember much before then), and I don't remember any team ever playing as hot, and lucky, as them. I firmly believe that if the Padres had not folded in that 1 game playoff that the Phillies would be going to the World Series. Unbelievable.

maybe the 1989 A's who ended the season 9including playoffs) on a 19 and 4 run, but that team was supposed to be that good
Colorado however man you may have to go to the Miracle Mets in 69 to get a story like that.

however KC did poorly with 1 tenth the payroll so it hurts less.

While that was an awesome run, right now the Rockies are on a 22-1 run I believe, so if they win, at worst, its 26-4. But yes, the A's is probably the only one that I can remember that is close.
I am hoping for the Rockies to sweep.
