General Ubs has agreed to teach any interested basics of pvp/gvg.
Date: Mother's Day weekend (thinking may be on Saturday)
Lesson: Basics of: Armor
Builds
Tactics for each profession.
Basically will be going over what runes are used in armor (especially if using pve for pvp or rolling a pvp). Why this is important. Builds that are good for each class and why some skills dont work in pvp but work in pve. Tactics for each profession, where and what each position on team should be doing.
Now for my turn..
I want Bio people that want to pvp/gvg to attend. Will be taking names of those that attend. They will be first picked for team!! I was asked to do a job and have been slacking. Last weekend's scrimage against Ubs showed me that. I know some of you have experience in pvp and thank you for that. But remember I am new to Bio, I dont know who has experience (except maybe Queen, Kev and Sly) and who doesnt. Whom is from Wargods (hehehe still remember fighting them by accident, wont say outcome, but thought Queen would never speak to me again). So what I am saying is I am basically starting with a fresh page with no idea what anyones abilities, strengths or weaknesses are. So really want people to attend this so I know we are all atleast on one page together. I want to know who can play what position, who can set up fast with basic builds (may use these builds in future btw), who has the skills needed, etc.
If enough attend (and yes I will be there!!) he has promised to do another one with more advanced info. I would love to have him teach some on more strats.
This is open to the alliance as well. I will be guesting him to Bio hall (he will have his time into XsV for tourneys so will not be leaving them). Fill free to bring questions about pvp or ask them when he is done with lesson. And luckly for me this is free!! So spread the word.
If planning on attending let me know, leave message here. Queen can this be put in guild announcement for those /cough not signed up on here?
NOTE TO BIO: Be respectful and let him have the floor. Dont care if you run around but pay attention. And give him more respect than what was shown me this weekend!!! Not sure if vent will be required (doubtful) but if so.. I only want to hear his voice!!! I dont have admin rights but I know someone that does... in other words MUTED!! More than likely he will be typing this so no interrupting him!! Thank you all.

Thats a good guide. Yue is an AMAZING ranger as well, although I've only ever played a few games with him.
And on the subject of guides, http://www.teamquitter.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3484. A good warrior guide. Chiizu is probably the best warrior in the game... probably not the best guide writer, but it has some good stuff in there. |

Ubs will be a guest speaker, (even though he is a friend).....PLEASE show him the respect that he is due....

AGREED!! (wow yes Nick and I agreed on something)
I will warn those that are being disruptive! More than likely I will be on vent with him and he will tell me when someone is annoying him (trust me). He has more patience than I so be warned. But I have faith that those that show will have more respect (I know you all do) for Ubs than for me while I set up gvgs. And not to mention I am his front line of defense if too much comes at him. So come and have fun. We may even gvg afterwards with info we got.
Forgot to add a big For letting me change the hall (okay for letting me have the hall changed) I have my reasons. But understand that the main one is that the hall we had is a splitable hall and most guilds will gank in that hall. No offense to anyone but we are far from ready to split like that. Have some things to explain about this hall and its glitches but will be fun and much easier to learn. Also would like some practice sessions in other alliance halls. I want everyone to get to know layout of halls (I did this via gvgs and taking tours of halls and fake practice of flag running) because it is good to know terrain. Never know at the first what hall you will get to fight in.

Someone beat me to this... Thanks Ubs dear.
If Ubs is unable to make it I would love to still get together and scrimage in other guilds halls as well as our own. Well explain maps and terrain in them. Would be great if we can get lots of people to form 2 teams. Maybe the first scrimage check out maps and hazards. Where flag stand is located, any back routes for gankers and hazards. If 2 teams have flaggers run flags (or in our hall run repair kit back while another member of team runs first flag) as a practice thing. Then maybe set up for a fight the next to see how it all plays out in a gvg setting. So your time will not be wasted to go ahead and show up for this and we have to postpone Ubs talk.
Besides I want EVERYONE to learn the guild halls!!!
I hath spoken therefore it is now law!!! (well as far as pvp goes)
