New GvG leader

Recently in the officer fourm, Queen announced that she was stepping down from the position of GvG leader. So Ev, Sparks, and I decided it was time we gave a little back to our beloved guild, and step up and try to fill the role.

What we have planned is to eventually get about 14-16 or so people who are on frequent enough to PvP often and frequently. We are looking to run full HA teams and GvG teams with set builds that have been proven to work, and maybe a few we have worked out on our own and with others. We will also have the pleasure of having Uda and Ubs joining us for most of our PvP-ing, and they really know their stuff so we will respect there decisions on most matters concerning PvP.

Now, if you are wanting to be on the team, very little is required. The only requirement is commitment to the builds we give you, hope, and ventrilo. There may be some times when we give you a build you can't run and you have some spare cash lying around so maybe you can go buy the skills real quick if you don't have enough balth faction. You may also think that the build we gave you is inferior to one that you have and all we can ask of you is to try the build we gave you. If it seems to really not be working then we will give your build a shot, promise.

Now as a final note, if you are interested in being on the team then just let one of the three of us know. At the date of posting this we have appox. 5 members who are part of the team. I would love to recruit members within the guild before we start recruiting outside so just let one of us know, whether it be on here, in game, or by e-mail.

Can I be a honorary Bio? For pvp?

Want to say congrats to you 3!! I know I have talked to Evr some. Okay yelled a bit, gave some advice and generally got very excited. If you feel you need anything Ubs and I (okay I can only speak for me) are here for you.

Now that being said, is there a possiblity of setting up some appointment with you 3 to discuss what we were doing with Queen. Just some ideas we had, observations we made? Nothing big but important. Not trying to take over your leadership just wanting to share what we see, and help.

Okay now for comments about your post. Builds, want to back you up on this. Mostly when a team comes up with builds there is a team effort in mind. B surge ele to blind front liners, crip ranger to crip called targets to keep them from kiting and out of range. Etc. I personally prefer to run a pvp rollable when I discover I dont have the skill needed on pve character. But I worked my buns off to get UAX (all skills, mods and runes unlocked for pvp), most elites for every profession were unlocked by capping in pve, skills bought with faction everytime I had over 1k faction or more. Not saying you have to do this, no you dont, I still pvp on Uda and sometimes my warrior or other pve characters. But please let people know if you dont have some of the skills, sometimes they can be substuted for something else (ubs is good at this) or you could play some other position that you have skills for. But speak up, dont just put whatever you want there (speaking from experience here) and think that will work. Waiting for a shatter enchant on a spike to find out the mesmer doesnt have that on bar is frustrating for entire team. (no that wasnt the case so pffft)
