VoD..yes victory or death
NPC turtling i think is where you hang around your NPC, kinda like running back to him for help

OK, so then am I to understand from the rules that:
We are not allowed to be in firing proximity of our base' NPCs, EXCEPT when one of our teammates has died and we wish to retreat to gather that team member up and form a full group again? |

That rule was mainly my idea, so I'll elaborate a bit.
The purpose of that rule is so people won't take in a build that has no chance of winning out in the open where there are no NPC's, and they simply just sit in their base until VoD at which time they simply kill the other teams NPC's and wait for the Guild Lord to march to his death at ~21 minutes.
Backing into your NPC's if you need a little extra help is fine, but sitting in them the entire match is not. |

Now as for tourney.
Its a pvp tourney of 4v4.
Shiz officers/pvp team are not allowed in tourney.
Prizes still in work but thinking some money for top winners (working on getting 80k built up again so each team member gets 20k)
Experience in pvp is not necessary, this is for fun and to introduce in a friendly way pvp to those that dont pvp.
