Tell me something, and I am not saying that he cannot be a successful QB, I don't honestly know what to think about Romo, but why do YOU think that "he will do alright this season"? If he had thrown a clunker, then a good game, a couple clunkers, then adjusted and had a good game, I might be more willing to say it was rookie mistakes, and it still might have been. But, what I saw though was a QB with early success, perhaps because he was unknown and teams overplayed the run saying let the kid beat us (which is stupid when you have Whitten, TO and Glenn....they WILL beat you if you let them), and once they got tapes on the kid, found holes in his game, and played to these weaknesses.....and he either could not adjust quickly enough, because he was young and inexperienced, or he could not adjust because he was not good enough. I keep going back to my memory of Bobby Hoying, who was a better college QB than Romo, and had similar success with a worse Eagles team back in 96 or 97, only to fail miserably when he came back the next season, and lost his job by mid October, was cut the next offseason, and spent the last 3 years of his career buried on the Raiders bench.

But honestly, I don't know. I have not seen enough of Romo to say that he will or will not have a good year this year. And I saw many of his games. But if you live in the Dallas area, perhaps you saw all of them. Enlighten me. Why do you think that "he will do alright this season"? Is there something out there that makes you say that, some tape, something that Wade Wilson said, perhaps he did well in the minicamp and you were watching it? Or is it a hope that he does alright this season because you are a Cowboy fan. See, I HOPE that Donovan McNabb stays healthy all season because he is among the top 3 or 4 QBs in the league when he is healthy. But I THINK that is a longshot because he has not done that in 3 of th last 5 seasons. See, an opinion and some supporting data to back up the opinion. That is the difference between an opinion and a hope.

So, why do you think that "Tony Romo will do alright this season"?

Come on Dishin, I have really high expectations for your response, don't disappoint me by not even showing up. I mean, its no fun beating on somebody that doesn't even fight back, I mean, unless the person you are beating on is the Cowboys, and its Christmas Day.....then of course, its all good.

Don't pull a Romo, and fumble this......
