What post might that be? I'm guessing it was one of mine though. Happy Columbus day for all of those see it as a holiday. I don't really seen as Columbus did not actually discover America, but it is my grandfather's birthday. |

I know nothing about intentionally infecting INDIANS (sorry, but I have been corrected by more than 1 indian who do not like the term Native American.....they say, while we gave them the name of Indian, they have accepted it, but now guilt ridden white liberal folks want to rename them again, and they will not accept it. If you want to honor them, call them by their nation, as they do). But I will not apologize for sins of my ancestors. Columbus was instrumental in our history, more so than the true "discoverers" of America, be it the Indians or Leif Errickson, so thats why we honor him. And the reason we have no Lombardi day is because the holidays are set by Congress in D.C., and Lombardi failed to turn around the Skins (he died, so he is not 100% at fault there), so they cannot honor him.

I'm 37 and have gone to the local convenience store and the grocery store in my slippers and "comfy" pants, which are basically flannel pajama pants. And at all hours of the day or night. I am not in college or high school. I just don't care what other people say. I am comfortable and that's all that matters to me. Now, if I were going to my kids school or something, thats different.

Green, blue and black flannel bottoms or blue and black flannel bottoms, along with my blue corderoy slippers (slightly worn).....works for me.....hey, I am not out there trying to pick up chicks. Last winter it was funny because I quick ran to the local grocery store and ran into my mother and a neighbor that I do not know that well from up the street (my mom is 3 doors up from me, and this neighbor lives a few doors up, across the street, have gotten to know them yet).....boy, did I get an earful from my mother that night. She called me and bitched at me until I finally had to tell her to chill out and I did not want to hear it anymore. My father and I both told her that she should mind her own business. Bottom line, I don't care. I am who I am.
She does not like my Aussie Hat (made by Tillie....best hats in the world)....she just likes to complain and is easily embarrassed....so I make it a point to try and embarrass her now. Its become sport.
