Basics of PvP

I must say that I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm....in those who profess to be interested in PvP....

IF there are no practices, the team will NOT improve....

I am not being ugly or difficult....that is a FACT....I am sure that Uda will agree w/ me....

If you do not know the terrain you are working with...your chances of winning are GREATLY DIMINISHED......again....FACT.....

Quit thinking that because you can beat everyone in a 1v1 contest or because you "kick" in AB, that you know all there is to know about PvP....open up your minds......and SHOW up to practice.....

PLEASE....don't use the forum to list your excuses.....if you were not showing, you should have had the courtesy to let the GVG LEADER know AHEAD of time....

And 1 last thing.......

The Vent System. Vent is a PRIVILEGE.....NOT a Right......IF you abuse the system....your privileges CAN be revoked.
I KNOW about the problems, folks.....I want them to stop...ASAP

If a group is PvPing.....ONLY members of that invited group belong in the room......
PHANTOMS......no
Interrupting other groups just for fun or annoyance factor......NO....

Sorry if I am spoiling the fun of a few...but you guys have been making things miserable for a LOT of people.

and now....forgive my rant.......but I seriously mean all of it.....

And yes am way angry about the "I am great at gvg/pvp" but not even knowing where the flag spawns or that the repair kit is so darn important.

I think I made a point though. I made a byob team. Even went monk which is a very weak spot for me as I am way rusty at it. We were wiped. No one listened to calls, no one listened to strats. Everyone talked over each other. It was horrid. But funny. I did talk to other team via pm. They wanted everyone to know that they too were fairly new to gvg. But the difference was they LISTEN. And did wish me good luck with getting team better.

I am more than happy to listen to team builds and even try them if you think you got something. But if I see anymore "this is what I am gonna run" builds I am going to strangle someone. This is a TEAM sport.. in other words work with YOUR TEAM!!!! I understand that Queen and others are against this but I would dearly love to get people away from the 1v1 thing.
It is ruining everyones team effort.

But now that for the time being we have the great luck of having some very experienced pvpers in the guild (love you guys!!! and THANK YOU) I am giving them gvg leader rights. If they yell YOU LISTEN. They are all serious pvpers (that would be Ubs, Devil and Boo) not sure if others are coming or not (got pm from Magnus but was afk and he logged). We have been on teams together for a long time. DO NOT give them any trouble, well nevermind they will yell at you themselves.

Now on subject.. Ubs we doing this next weekend??? Same rules apply and anyone not showing but whining well lets say DONT.

lol....I haven't done any 1v1 in.....

a long time.....
as I came to the realization when I was working as GVG leader that it was one of the "issues"....

I would not throw a vote to stop it....any more than I would to stop any other guild activity....but...
PEOPLE......
STOP and THINK.....

GVG, HA, even TA and AB are TEAM sports.....(ahhhhhh...I used the word SPORTS....)

You folks MUST learn to work as a TEAM, to listen to the person in CHARGE.....and to stop thinking that your ideas are better than everyone elses.....

Until that day, we will never have a real team.
