Good Group Member Guidelines

After several instances of having people decide in the middle of a Mission or a long farming trip that they were bored or discouraged....we decided to come up w/ a list of guidelines that make up "good " groups....

If you find that you disagree, or think that I need to add to them, please see me....I'm not hard to find! Icon_color_shifter

Grouping w/ others.....

1) Evaluate the time that the mission/quest is going to take compared to the time you have to spend online. In other words folks....if you start with a group, you FINISH w/ them.

2) NO RAGE QUITTING.

3.) NO Trash talking: This includes other team as well as your own. Officers, we have a job to do as pvp officers and that is to teach others and to form a GODLY team. Making others feel inferior is not forming the teamwork we need. So DONT DO IT!

4.) Team Builds...This means that when the leader asks for 2 warriors, ranger, ele, mesmer, 2 monks and a runner, that's what is WANTED...even NEEDED. Adjustments can be made from there. THE GVG LEADER MAKES ALL DECISIONS PERTINENT TO WHO PLAYS WHICH POSITIONS!!!!!
Your best bet is to have a roll-over pvp char if you plan on continuous PVPing....

5) Evaluate the SKILLS needed for the area you are in....(this goes for PVP as well as PVE....if you cannot run the builds that are required, or do not have the skill level asked for....do NOT ask to join.

6) The Monks have a hard job...Give him/her a break! Remember to stop so that the monks can reenergize.....don't waste time complaining
to them.....

7) IMPORTANT!!!!! FOLLOW your leaders plan! (THIS is important in both PVP AND PVE......)

8) before going through a portal.....CHECK.....is ALL of the group ready?????

9) Basically, folks....simply do unto others......
You hate it when people rage quit on you....or run out of time in the middle of BIG quests......TRY your best to be courteous to your Guild, Alliance, and even Gaming friends.....

10) Lastly....HAVE FUN!!!!!!!

Can I add some for pvp groups? Well going to, if you dont like you do have admin rights and can delete me so pffffft.

1.) When on vent and in gvg/pvp no body else should be talking except those that are in the match!!! I dont mind if you are in the vent channel as long as you keep your mouth shut once match has started!

2.) (hint really big pet peeve with me so dont do this!) Rage quitting. I do understand computer problems, err 7s and even emergencies. But if I catch anyone rage quiting from any pvp team I AM on you may want to kiss your pvp with me good bye. (Shiz rule was auto kick, so be happy you are here)

3a. Trash talking other teams. Not good idea. I dont mind some friendly conversations and I do know that if my Shiz guildies (which are in XsV atm) may trash talk. But they are also known in pvp, and frankly they are not BIO. You represent your guild and ME when pvping. Dont make me angry!!

4.) When I call out a team build that is what I want!! Right at this time I am trying to adjust things to fit what Bio is able to do. So starting with a simple balanced build. Will get some more from Ubs shortly. This means when I ask for 2 warriors, ranger, ele, mesmer, 2 monks and a runner. I want warriors, ranger, ele, etc. Then we can adjust from there. I am willing to work with people if they dont have the skills for the exact build I want to a extent. (example pin down for crip shot... eww but we can work it out) But if I ask for crip slash and a hammer I do not want to hear several people start arguing over who is going to be warrior. I DECIDE!!!
In other words be prepared to play other professions (or flag run, which is easy and no one really will ever take your position)

5.) and important: HAVE FUN!!!

personal note: I personally dont like 1v1s and reason why... I have noticed that Bio people tend to make solo builds. Fine except when on a team!! 1v1s do not promote team work, which sadly I have noticed this guild is missing. So for your sanity and time from getting a lecture on the evils of 1v1s, dont ask me to do. (yes kevin you did die twice)

I am sure I will think of more as my day goes on. So if this isnt deleted I want people to check back when I add stuff!!
