Fox's Promise Scythe Build
This is a build I was contemplating using. I am new to Guild Wars and obviously pvp within gw. I come from PVP'ing in other MMO's so it's bugging the hell out of me not knowing which builds actually work. I've done some research and this build seems to be controversial, as it seems to rely on a strict group composition. However given that group composition, this build would be amazing.
I'd like everyone's input, as like I said, I am new and am still learning how the game works. :)
Thanks! _________________

That build is usually used in HA in a team that does nothing but spike. Usually consisting of one of those sins, a few midline, and 3 monks. This build has very little pressure because it is very easily protted, but a high damage spike... and really the only reason it wins is because so much defense is packed onto the other characters it's hard to kill them.
Rant: I don't get why people use wearying strike, tbh. It causes weakness which causes your damage to be cut by 2/3. This is why I say people in HA are bad. The build itself is a good concept, but needs tweaking to be better, and no one wants to do it, they just copy/paste the builds and run it... but, thats HA.
Anyway, I'll post an RA friendly version of it in a little bit. It's based on the same concept, just more survivable in the RA setting. |

After playing around with build, I really don't like it at all. I went to using a modified version of my Moebius Death Blossom Farmer Build. Modified it a bit for PVP and it seems to be working a lot better. _________________

Try this one:
OwpiMypMFnp/sIOAx91cxcJAAA
I like it a lot better (for RA and such) that the other one. You might like it a bit more too. |
