Time for a new edit to catch up w/ the posts below.....

At this time we have access to a NEW VENT server.
(Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!) In fact, we now have a
24 person server......

[This server costs $5/month, which Bio, Queen, & Silvia
have financed for the next year ($60). However, if ANY of you
would like to DONATE to help defray the costs, you can use
PayPal, sending funds to Bio (see him for te address)

Getting back to the new system....
the first thing you will need to do is to download the NEW ventrilo program....

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS.....

go to www.ventrilo.com
(or simply click on the link on the home page of the forum)
there is a menu on the left side of the page.....choose "download"

Once there, download Windows version 3.0.1

your server is: voice100.AFVentrilo.com
hostname: voice100.AFVentrilo.com
port #: 4269

see a Bio member for the Password

Please let me or Slyther know if there are any problems.....
We are getting fairly proficient at helping w/ troubleshooting....

OK, well, let's do some testing on it, then we'll see if we can just use that as the alliance chat server and keep our own guild server in the meantime.

I have been on it a few times and I got to say its fun actually having people on it to talk to. Queen joined me last night on it with Granny leader of AoS and Tom aka Flippin Birdies. We did a run together and I had a chance to try it and I must say TS is nice. He gave me admin rights to make changes or and sub channels. I hope you dont mind but I offered our forum cause they have no other means of communication. Great way to get our site hopping but I odnt think they were that interested. They seem like a great bunch and Yes Tom has his own T5 server, very nice I must say... I look forward to using our later. To save money though Silvia and since we are not getting more that 8 users on at a time perhaps lowering the slots might be a good idea from what I see so far. Regardless of Alliance TS. We ourselves are not using no where near 24 slots as is maybe lower it to 12 a savings is a savings. Ill be on when I get home from work tonight 11pm EST.

Oh and Queen I hope I wasnt out of line offering the use of the Forum I know its your site considering the dual usage for Football with the non GW players. Which was all b4 BIO CLAN.

Awe I was hoping this was about GVGs :cry:

Sorry about the vent thing. Shiz has one and I totally spaced yours out. I will need to post info on guild status or could if you like. We tend to um.... be ourselves on vent. Those that know us, know what I mean. Dont think some would like it.

As for ts, I have Tom's ts downloaded (have hung around AoS for about 2 years now, love em) but I get horrible lag and static. Think it is because I am 3k miles away, or when lots join. May have to pop in once in awhile to keep him on his toes :twisted: .

Hey Queen and Sil offered this as basic forums for all (I have two that I havent checked in forever, :lol: one is Shiz alliance. Will have to check with Ubs if both are still up) If you want we can change that Shiz one to Doom alliance forums, no biggie.

Oh and I HAVE INVADED!!!! :twisted:

Now about gvgs......... :wink:

I think Phase has an alliance forum atm. You could ask him if he'd like to switch to yours.

We're doing AB this weekend to get some PvE'ers a bit more interested in PvP. You're welcome to join!

I don't think that DOOM has an Alliance forum...you can ask Phase and see if I am wrong....

We talked at one point, and decided that 1 forum per Alliance was plenty (in the interests of keeping conversation going).....if everyone was willing to join.....

so far, things have been slow, but, this forum is open to all....

Uda, if you do want to open the ShiZ forum back up...let me know so that I can add a link.....

it should be as easy as possible for people to jump back and forth, don't you think?
