parents are what you make them
ever notice when your room is clean, your grades are up, and you do not smell bad how your parents do not seem to ask you WTH are you doign all the time?
personally my parents were great close enough that the mistakes I made growing up were not to severe, but far enough away I could make mistakes and learn how not to be stupid
I am hoping my kids will think that way of me, but I bet they say annoying _________________ If winning isn't everything, why the hell do they keep score? ~ VL |

Clarke I am a firm believer that there are three things that will get a boy in line faster than anything...
a smack on the rear pockets
a good football coach
and a drill Sgt.
my kid got in trouble his second week of kindergarden and I pulled up a military school on the internet and asked him if he wanted to go there? ~ AMAZING the difference since _________________ If winning isn't everything, why the hell do they keep score? ~ VL |

They ask you what you are doing because you are 13 and their job is to guide you and protect you....mostly from yourself. And 13 year olds annoy everybody. _________________

it's true.....in a sense......
Having been a substitute teacher for ALL ages of kids I can HONESTLY say that the 2 WORST ages of kids to sub for are
1) kindergardeners (mommy complex w/ their teachers)
and
2) Middle schoolers (high school wanna-bees that haven't learned when it's time to SHUT UP!)
No offense to any of you out there......you all know that I love you guys........and, for the most part, respect you all.....but if you think about it, you know what I say is pretty much true...... :D
(have you ever wanted to tell one of your own FRIENDS to shut up and back off?) Exactly.................. _________________

I agree with you queen that middle schoolers and kindergardens are the two worst year level to teach. Kindergarden students are so loud and so spoiled- after all, they are just babies. Anyway, middleschoolers are the worst! You should see my grade (i am in year 8 and i do not take any offece because it happened to be true with my grade). We NEVER get any job done because many people in our grade kept on annoying the teacher (only I and 3-4 others students were quiet). One time, we practised lining up for one WHOLE period because some class clowns who thinks they are cool wont shut up while lining up. We almost gave 2 teachers a nervous breakdown with our behaviour.
*sigh* Even though they were told off by the teachers and given detentions, they still WON'T SHUT UP. |

I can tell you from the thousands of kids that come through my courthouse every year
one things is sure, much more of them do not get that than do
appreciate it for what it is
plus you have had ump years of growing up but parents remember the kid wabbling around the house wanting to be held.
to them you will always be that kid ~ enjoy it man _________________ If winning isn't everything, why the hell do they keep score? ~ VL |

Be thankful you guys still have parents!! They can be taken from you so easily its scary! My mom died when i was 16, and i've never even met my dad.
So love them while you can, and be respectful towards them always or else you will find it difficult to live with yourself after they have passed! |

Very appropriate thought....and I am sorry for the loss of your mother and for the fact that you have never met your father. |
